Purest Jazz is a new form of jazz that emerged from Rufus Lin’s encounters with jazz artists active in Tokyo, following over 100 performances in the city over many years.
The music is characterized by a fresh taste incorporating electronic instruments and a refined fusion of classical jazz music.

This label is the primary repository and vehicle of delivery of a type of music invented by Rufus Lin called immersive jazz, in which an original or familiar melody is improvised upon with some degree of freedom from conventional harmonic progressions and fixed rhythms.
